Office day 😦 hence the catch up on posts and paperwork…
Today’s question raised in my mind by the new Joseph Rowntree Foundation research.
How much Paperwork is enough?
How much too much?
The examples mentioned in the report are all too familiar from my working life.
I came into care to look after and help people. At some point the world changed and I had to get good at computers and paperwork.
Reminds me of my first job at Elderfield house in 1986. If memory serves I did no paperwork, but lived and worked alongside some of the most vulnerable members of society.
And we got great outcomes!!
More time on care is what I say
